Home By Nine

Home By Nine is an alternative rock band from the GTA making music that sticks. Their sound is high-energy, anthemic, and built for the stage — capturing everything from reckless nights to youthful rebellion. Having performed across the GTA and Guelph, the band continues to build momentum ahead of their debut single, releasing this October. Home By Nine exists to make music that connects — loud, honest, and unmistakably human.

Johnny Zupan

Johnny is the voice and attitude of Home By Nine. As the band’s main lyricist, he blends the raw energy of Catfish and the Bottlemen with the storytelling of early Bob Dylan. His lyrics feel conversational and real, shaping the band’s emotional core and aesthetic identity. On stage, Johnny’s charisma pulls the crowd in—offstage, his words keep the band honest about what they stand for.

Eric Mueller

Eric is the band’s dual engine—pure chaos live, pure focus in the studio. His basslines drive the energy on stage, while his producer’s ear anchors the band’s songwriting and recording. With sharp instincts and relentless drive, Eric adds attitude and clarity in equal measure, bridging the gap between the band’s vision and sound.

Alexander Hoffmann

Hoff brings precision and emotion in equal measure. A calm and focused perfectionist, his playing draws from the power of Led Zeppelin and the texture of Oasis and The Smashing Pumpkins. His leads add depth and color, amplifying the emotional weight of each song. Hoff’s detail-oriented approach helps turn every riff into part of the story, giving Home By Nine its dynamic edge.

Anthony Frangione

Anthony brings rhythm, warmth, and unstoppable energy. Completely at home behind the kit, his playing blends heavy power with an infectious positivity. His dynamic style underpins the band’s sound—punchy, grounded, and alive.
